CSIF Production Access Funds

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS NOW OPEN FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2024!

DEADLINE to apply: MONDAY MAY 6th, 2024. 4:59PM MST

 

Twice a year, CSIF accepts applications for our Production Access Funding streams, which are non-cash funding programs that provide support for your film through equipment rentals and facility access.

CSIF Strives to foster equality and promote diversity by providing access to resources and workshops to increase members’ knowledge and achieve personal artistic expression through the production and exhibition of Non-exploitive films. To obtain this goal, CSIF offers various non-cash funding opportunities. Applicants may be at any stage of their careers: emerging, mid-career, established. Filmmaker’s shooting/finishing on film will have an advantage, however this is not required for the application. Filmmakers must complete their film 12 months from being awarded the production fund.

The four streams are as follows:

 

Cultural Equity Fund

The Cultural Equity Fund is a production support program that provides opportunities for minority artists to express themselves creatively through the medium of film/video.

 

Indigenous Voices Fund

The Indigenous Voices Production Fund is a production support program for First Nations, Metis and Inuit artists who wish to express themselves creatively through the medium of film/video.

 

2SLGBTQ+ Fund

The 2SLGBTQ+ Production support fund is for 2SLGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans-gendered, two-spirited and questioning) artists, who wish to express themselves creatively through the medium of film/video.

 

FISH Fund (Filmmakers In Search of a Home)

The Fish Fund is CSIF’s long-standing short-film production incentive program designed to help developing independent filmmakers produce their film/video by providing technical services and support. Applicants may be at any stage of their careers: emerging, mid-career or established.
