CSIF is moving!

CSIF is moving. Starting on November 1 our new location will be #2 – 6110 1A St SW.
This means that during the month of October we will need support in moving equipment, technology, and office furniture. As well we will need support with some painting and light carpentry work to prep the space for both staff and members. This would be a great time to put in your volunteer hours. Food will be provided for volunteers. 
You can sign up for a shift by filling out this Google form. 
This also means that we will not be taking any more bookings for the Flex Space after Thanksgiving weekend. There also may be limited equipment availability depending on the day. The best option is to reach out to equipment@csif.org as early as possible so that we can prepare your request and make sure we can have it available for you. 
Clubs and other events this month will still be held in our current space, but make sure to double check the website. This month’s Hangout is planned to be held at the new space.

Announcing CSIF’s First Feature Intensive

Ready to make your first feature?
We have opened submissions for CSIF’s First Feature Intensive. If accepted into this cohort you will receive: script mentorship; support on how to make a budget for a low budget film ($200k to $500k); guidance on pitching; and other essential topics.
 
What you need to do before submitting your interest:
-have a full core creative team of writer, director, and producer. (Directors may NOT also be a producer in any proposal)
-all team members must be a CSIF member with no outstanding fees, and provide a film resume with application
-a complete draft script
