Membership – There are two tiers of membership at CSIF:
A) Associate Membership: The base membership upon signing up. Members at this level receive heavily subsidized equipment rentals, discounts on all workshops and affiliate partnerships, mentorship opportunities, etc. Members at this level have the ability to join CSIF clubs, and have voting rights at our annual general meetings. NOTE: Members may only book/rent equipment for projects they are the key creative lead/owner. If a member wants to rent gear on behalf of a non-member’s project or a corporate production, the member must pay the commercial rate for rentals, as outline in the online rate sheet.
B) Production Membership: The second tier of membership. Reserved for more seasoned members and/or newer members who want to have more involvement in shaping CSIF. Production members receive all the benefits of an associate membership, but receive additional subsidies on equipment rentals and have the ability to not only vote board members in, but can also join our various committees and/or CSIF’s Board. NOTE: Same rules apply for non-member/commercial productions.
